Bio: Jyh-Cheng Chen received the BS degree in physics from National Central University, Taiwan, in 1983, and the MS degree in physics and PhD degree in optical sciences from the University of Arizona, USA in 1988 and 1995, respectively. In 1995, he joined the Opto-Electronics and System Laboratories, Industrial Technology Research Institute, Taiwan, as a research associate working on semiconductor laser packaging. In 1996, he became a member of the faculty of Division of Radiological Science and Technology, Department of Medical Technology, National Yang-Ming University (NYMU), Taiwan. In 1998, he became an associate professor of Institute of Radiological Sciences, NYMU, Taiwan. Since 2005, he has been a professor in the Department of Biomedical Imaging and Radiological Sciences (BIRS), NYMU, Taiwan, teaching and pursuing his research in areas of molecular imaging physics and instrumentation. During 2012-2015, He had been the Chairman of the Department of BIRS, NYMU, Taiwan. Since 2017, he has been a distinguished professor of Department of BIRS, NYMU. His research interests include image processing, analysis, reconstruction, and AI. He is using microPET/SPECT/CT to do image reconstruction, processing, and analysis for animal molecular imaging studies. He has also designed homemade microCT, FMT/CT, and PET/CT animal imaging systems. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal papers, a number of book chapters and owns several patents. He received NYMU Teacher’s Academic Excellence Award, and a few other research awards including Taiwan Innovation Award in 2019. He is a member of IEEE, SNM, and FASMI. He serves on the editorial board of International Journal of Biomedical Imaging, guest editor of a special issue in Computerized Medical Imaging and Graphic, and reviewer for more than 15 SCI journals. He has served in the program committees of several international conferences. He served as the associate-editor-in-chief of ANMMI and JRS.
Bio: Fang Hu received her Ph.D. in 2015 from the School of Computers, Central China Normal University, Wuhan, China. Dr. Hu worked at the University of West Florida as a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics during 2018-2019. Dr. Hu is currently a Full Professor at the College of Information Engineering, Hubei University of Chinese Medicine. She is an IEEE Senior Member, a China Computer Federation (CCF) Senior Member, the Website Chair of the IEEE Computer Society Big Data STC, the Executive Committee of the China Computer Federation (CCF) on Pervasive Computing, the Communication Committee of the Chinese Institute of Electronics' Youth Professional Technical Committee of the Internet of Things, etc. She received the 2023 Best Researcher Award, International Young Scientist Awards. She is a Guest Editor or Reviewer for over 60 SCI journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Network Science and Engineering, IEEE Systems Journal, etc. She is a Technical Program Committee, Program Committee for over 10 international conferences, such as EIIE, ISHCI, ICMIC, ISAIR, ICBSB, ICPMS, etc. She served as a keynote speaker at ICPHMS 2021, EEIE 2022, ICITBT 2022, MCCE 2023, EEIE 2023, ICMIC 2023, EEIT 2023, etc. As the first or corresponding author, she has published over 40 prestigious conference and journal articles, including over 20 SCI-indexed and over 10 EI-indexed papers. Her main research interests include Graph Machine Learning, Mobile Computing, Blockchain, and Big Data Analytics.
